Did Tom Holland really need this vanity vehicle, that is what I’m wondering. Duniya ki sabse badi film last spider man se abhi nikal kar banda ayaa, which despite being mostly for crowd-pleasing was also a pretty great film unto itself. He’s properly now duniya ke sabse bade superstars mein se ek, toh who advised him to sign a movie where the dialogue is as basic as “what took you so long to call?” “so, when do we start?”. Is it the attraction of a franchise? An attempt to reach more video game fanboys. Or does he have a contract to only play characters who are talented but misunderstood boy looking for a father figure?
